Jon Armstrong has been connected with the tourism accommodation industry since 1989 when on moving to Nelson with his family, he purchased his first leasehold motel.

He operated his Nelson motel successfully for two years before returning to Christchurch to purchase a further motel complex. Enthusiastic about the prospects in the industry, Jon continued to invest graduating from leasing to owning his own freehold going concern. Subsequently he turned his focus to further investment in the following years with a  number of motel purchases giving him invaluable experience and knowledge of the motel industry.

Jon's enthusiasm for the motel sector led to his eventual involvement as a broker in 2001 and in the years since he has successfully assisted many clients in the sale and acquisition of tourism property.

In his spare time Jon has an interest in Harley Davidsons and Alpaca Farming, as well as numerous sporting and other activities of his family.
